Annie is a Ph.D. Candidate in Cognitive Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz under the direction of Dr. Benjamin C. Storm. Her research focuses on the relationship between memory and creative problem solving, with particular interest in understanding how people should structure their problem-solving attempts to optimize their success. Before coming to Santa Cruz, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine, where she received her B.A. in Psychology (cognitive psychology track).
In her (limited) free time, Annie enjoys world building for a book she has no plans of actually writing, keeping up with an excessive number of TV shows (multitasking helps), and creating color-coded to-do lists in Excel.
